Independence Navigator Gmail Processor Terms of Service Addendum
This DMM Gmail Account Terms of Service Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements the agreement between you and Executor Navigator, LLC DBA Independence Navigator (“Independence Navigator”) for Daily Money Management services (“DMM Services”). This Addendum applies when you authorize Independence Navigator to access a Gmail account designated for use in connection with your DMM Services (the “DMM Gmail Account”).
1. Purpose of the DMM Gmail Account
The DMM Gmail Account is intended to serve as a dedicated inbox for third-party correspondence that you want Independence Navigator to review and handle as part of your DMM Services.
By connecting the DMM Gmail Account to Independence Navigator, you authorize Independence Navigator to use automated systems to access and process email in that account for purposes related to providing your DMM Services.
2. Authorization to Access Gmail
Access to the DMM Gmail Account is provided through Google’s OAuth authorization process and Gmail APIs.
When you complete the Google authorization process, you authorize Independence Navigator’s systems to access the DMM Gmail Account using the permissions presented to you by Google during that process.
Independence Navigator does not require or obtain your Gmail password in order to establish this connection.
3. Use of Authorized Access
Independence Navigator may use the authorized Gmail access to perform functions reasonably necessary to provide the DMM Services, including accessing email received by the DMM Gmail Account and processing or forwarding email when appropriate as part of those services.
The collection, use, storage, disclosure, and protection of information obtained through the DMM Gmail Account are described in the DMM Gmail Account Privacy Policy Addendum, which is incorporated into this Addendum by reference.
4. Maintaining the Gmail Connection
You agree that the DMM Gmail Account will remain available and authorized for access by Independence Navigator while Independence Navigator is providing DMM Services that depend upon the account.
You are responsible for maintaining the DMM Gmail Account and for informing Independence Navigator if you make changes that may interfere with Independence Navigator’s authorized access to the account.
Google may require authorization to be renewed or may otherwise interrupt access to the DMM Gmail Account. Independence Navigator may ask you to repeat the Google authorization process when necessary to restore or maintain the connection.
5. Revoking Authorization
You may revoke Independence Navigator’s authorization to access the DMM Gmail Account at any time through the controls provided by Google.
You may also contact Independence Navigator if you want assistance discontinuing use of the Gmail connection.
Revoking or otherwise disabling access to the DMM Gmail Account may prevent Independence Navigator from performing DMM Services that depend upon receiving or processing email from that account. If you revoke access while those services are still being provided, you should notify Independence Navigator so that alternative arrangements can be made where appropriate.
6. Termination of Access
Independence Navigator’s authorization to access the DMM Gmail Account is intended solely to support the DMM Services.
When the agreement under which Independence Navigator provides those services ends, Independence Navigator will discontinue its use of the authorized Gmail connection and terminate the connection as part of closing the DMM service relationship.
Termination of the Gmail connection does not necessarily require deletion of information previously obtained from the DMM Gmail Account. Retention and deletion of information previously obtained through Gmail are governed by the DMM Gmail Account Privacy Policy Addendum and any other applicable record-retention obligations.
7. Google Services
The DMM Gmail Account and the Google authorization process are services provided by Google and are subject to Google’s own terms, policies, availability, and technical requirements.
Independence Navigator does not control Google’s services and cannot guarantee that Gmail, Google OAuth, or the Gmail APIs will always be available or operate without interruption.
8. Relationship to the DMM Services Agreement
This Addendum applies only to Independence Navigator’s access to and use of the DMM Gmail Account. Except as specifically provided in this Addendum, the terms of your existing agreement with Independence Navigator remain unchanged.
If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the DMM Gmail Account Privacy Policy Addendum regarding the collection, use, storage, disclosure, retention, or protection of Gmail information, the Privacy Policy Addendum governs those matters.
